1. Who we are

2. The short version

• This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or advertising tools.
• We do not load fonts, scripts or maps from Google or other third parties — everything is served from our own server.
• We only collect what you send us through the contact form, plus standard server logs needed to keep the site secure.
• We never sell your data.

3. Contact form

When you send a message we process your name, company, email address, area of interest and message.

• Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you ask, prepare a proposal.
• Legal basis (GDPR): steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Retention: deleted 24 months after our last contact, unless it becomes part of a contract and must be kept longer by law.

To prevent abuse, we keep a one-way hashed form of your IP address for up to one hour to limit how many messages can be sent.

4. Server logs

Our web server automatically records technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and referring page. We use it only to operate the site, detect abuse and fix errors (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). Logs are deleted after 14 days.

5. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies and does not store anything on your device. That is why there is no cookie banner.

6. Website statistics

We do not collect visitor statistics.

7. Who receives your data

Only NeAr staff who need it to respond to you, and service providers acting on our instructions: our hosting provider ([HOSTING PROVIDER, COUNTRY]) and our email provider (Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Corporation)). We do not share your data with anyone else unless required by law.

8. International transfers

NeAr is based in the United States. If you contact us from the European Economic Area or the UK, your data is transferred outside it in order to answer your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR) and, where applicable, under Standard Contractual Clauses with our service providers.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you
• correct inaccurate data
• have your data deleted
• restrict or object to our processing
• receive your data in a portable format
• lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority
